King Jewelers makes a Huge Splash with Miss GEICO Racing Team
Aventura, FL (April 21, 2010) King Jewelers was proud to host the World Famous Miss GEICO Racing Team kick off party with an exclusive guest list. The King family warmly welcomed Marc Granet and Scotty Begovich, the driver and throttle man of the Miss GEICO, four- time world winning, team. “This is the beginning of a perfect partnership between King Jewelers and the Miss GEICO racing team”, says Maxine King. When it comes to South Florida’s jewelers, few players come close to being in the same league as King Jewelers.
King Jewelers, full throttle, high energy event had cameras rolling for a new secret reality TV show premiering later this season. Julio Piti, VP of the Beacon Council and celebrity DJ-DJ Irie were amongst the elite clients who understand the mechanisms of fine Swiss timepieces and can appreciate the GEICO Racing Teams epitome of speed and accuracy on the water.
Marc Granet was quick to don one of the Kings most spectacular timepieces before suiting up in his racing gear to entertain the crowd and photographers. Marc was excited to explain the similarities between precision mechanical watches and his twin T53 turbine jet engines producing a massive 4000 horse power, propelling machine topping speeds of 210mph. Both are personal passions of Granets.
